Ethos Family Support Hub
Our ETHOS Family Support Hub has continued to provide critical support to families in the Greater Shantallow Area. This year in particular has seen an increase in referrals and programmes carried out by the ETHOS team in an attempt to ease the strains of the cost-of-living crisis.
Access NI Vetting
The GSAP continues to act as a registered body (umbrella group) for Access NI. Our staff provides organisations, companies, self-employed people, and individuals with a speed and professional service for vetting. Our staff handles many aspects of the vetting procedure, supporting, advising, and guiding both organisations and individuals through the application process.
Success Northwest
Success North West offers support to those who are economically inactive through various community hubs across the DC&SDC area. Our hub here at GSAP offers a wide range of services including one-to-one mentoring, individual needsbased training, employability workshops with employer-targeted training, and guaranteed interviews.
Talking to Our Babies
Talking to Our Babies has continued to provide vital support to parents and carers within our community in enabling them to gain a deeper understanding of how babies and children aged 0-3 years develop language.
Aspire NI
ASPIRE NI is a unique education programme working in partnership with St Brigid’s College and targets all Year 8 pupils within the school. It aims to promote social and personal development, improve literacy and numeracy achievement & increase the pupil’s desire and belief to succeed both inside and outside school.
